For those of you who occasionally flatiron. Do you notice that after you flat iron, your hair is a tangled mess and very difficult to comb through? This happens to me quite often and I'm trying to figure out why. I normally have to run a blow dryer over it again once I'm finished blowdrying just so that I can even comb through without breaking my hair. I only flatiron my hair when it's time to update and I'm beginning to not want to do it then.

Anyone else experiencing this, or have any suggestions as to how to alleviate this happening?

Have you tried working with a smaller sized comb?My hair would tangle bad too so I started using a swisco comb to run through the larger sections and then a fine tooth comb to chase the flat iron.

i second the chase method.

last time i flat ironed i blowdried then did it in very small sections...came out beautifully.

First of all, great progress!:yep:

back to the quetsion, I'm not natural but maybe you can try the mizani thermasmooth line. Don'tSpeakDefeat just made a thread about it. I'm tempted it to try it myself, even though I'm trying to lay off heat.:ohwell:
