Flat ironed for the first time in months

I like what no heat has done for my hair. It's very thick and longer than what I remember.

However, I did this for a ceremony at work. I will go back to twistouts the next time I wash my hair.

I got the classic "why don't you where your hair like that all of time?" from an older lady.

My response: "because it is healthier for me to wear my hair the way that it naturally grows out of my hair."

Direct and it shut her up.

It is thicker at the roots (ignore the the grey hair!) and the body is more livelier.
