What is good for flat ironing new growth... i tried curl wax...negitive and grease... negitive... ion... was ok......

But what works and im like tex laxed hard 2 straighten.... and i have an h2pro it works qutie well

I find that mine flatirons best when I prep it while it is stillwet.

I put on a light spray leave in (I like fermodyl ampoules or dove mist) to make a my a little wetter, a little moisturizer and then a little heat protectant. After my hair is dry I flatiron and it always comes out straight and moisturized.

My hair does not straighten as well if I try to prep it while it is dry, so I only flatiron on shampoo days.

I like my new growth to get really straight. So I have to blow dry first with a round brush (I guess like an at-home dominican blow out) and then flat iron afterwards. I always use a heat protectant. I'm 14 weeks post now. Because of the amount if heat, I try to only do it every 2 to 3 weeks.

Extend-A-Perm is good. Sometimes I use all three products and sometimes I just use the straightening cream. I'm 40 weeks post and it works pretty well for me. I used to use curl wax and loved it.

Serums usually work for me. I use garnier sleek and shine serum

I love this stuff! I used it before my first order of CHI Silk Infusion came. I still use it right after I condition/deep condition my hair because it's an excellent detangler and provides great slip. The silicones in it also make it a good heat protectant.
