Hey ladies.
I may be paranoid, but it just dawned on me today that a lot of us take vitamins and things to see results in our hair and others take things to see results in their physique. Does anyone think that doing both can adversely affect one's growth/health?

I recently started a well reputed fat burner, and just now while taking my hair/skin/nails vitamin, I wondered if there was anything in many fatburners' proprietary blends that could negate other vitamin benefits or....react adversely. Is anybody else doing this or done so in the past?

Any thoughts?

I stopped taking fat burners because I noticed overall depletion of my health. My hair texture changed and my hair felt like it was thinning out. I threw away the pills and researched natural fat burners. Right now I drink Green Tea after my last meal and I started working out and watching my diet. I'm just scared to return to those pills. IMHO, they are just killer chemicals. I'd rather burn my fat the safe and natural way.

Thanks for replying.
I was already taking green tea extract but it seemed to lose its effectiveness (i have been at it for a year). I don't have much weight left to lose and probably won't finish this bottle lol. But I will definitely heed that advice and keep an eye out for thinning, texture change, or anything else.

Oh...and bump lol.

You dont need a fat burner. You can use natural fat burners: green tea extract, and cayenne pepper in capsule form.

really? if that's the case I should be bald headed bcuz i take a fat burner. i take it to not to burn fat, but to give me the extra energy to push/lift heavier weight.

i've not seen any adverse affect with regards to my hair by taking them. However, i do take other supplements.

but i do advise against taking a fat burner and not working out at all. not a good choice.

@jersey, oh totally agree. I do weight train 3 days a week, with an hour of cardio. I do an hour and a half of cardio on non lifting days, except Sunday when I do nothing at all lol. Have do so (with tweaks here and there) for a little over a year and I lost almost 50 lbs. I try to monitor my calories too. I also take a multivitamin, msm (my knees are grateful), and both use whey protein and soy protein in my diet. I use glutamine on days when my weight training is extra intense to fight DOS.

And I LOVE the added energy and focus it gives. I feel like a machine in the gym lately and it HAS to be the OEp.
Good to see someone who hasn't had adverse issues. I guess I just have to monitor it.

@Nasdaq, I did that my first year, and imo, they seemed to lose effectiveness. Still take green tea extract though for other benefits.
