It's been SOOOOO hot, and my AC is crapping out, so in the interest of keeping cool, I've been washing my hair at night and doing one French braid down the back, after slicking my sides, front & crown back with a stretchy cloth headband.

I old my ends and go to sleep. The next a.m. the braid is mostly dry. I take it out, fluff a bit, and I'm set.

Now why the H*ll didn't I try this earlier? (I do think the BKT is a huge component in this, though, b/c my hair doesn't frizz nearly as much as when I tried this with just a relaxer.) So I get the benefit of actually being able to sleep in this hot weather AND staying away from both the blow dryer and flat iron.

Is anyone doing anything differently with your wet braid outs?

Glad you've found something that works for you. Any pics? You know we want to see!

Ok, I just skimmed the text to get an idea of what the post is about and immediately looked for pics. :yep: :yep:

And, I'm not the only one here that skims the text and scrolls right down to see the pics.
