OP, to answer your question, I've never worn a wig...I'm sorry, but I'm sure knowledgeable women will chime in!

I've been wearing wigs for years now. It was no biggie to go from a sew in to a wig. I actually prefer wearing wigs because I can take it off when I get home and I can co wash daily. I exercise 4- 5 times a week and I sweat alot in my head, so I hated exercising in a sew in weave. I like to wear the synthetic half wigs by Outre. For $20, you can't beat it. I wear curly styles so even at 11 weeks post everything looks good.

I try not to get the kind with the fake looking scalp/part.

Although, for the Sake of HAIR HEALTH, it prolly wouldn't bother me that much.:look:

It's all about Health & Length for me right now.:yep:

Anytime somebody puts up with a Wig in 90+ Degree weather.........Yeah.......it's that serious!

Weird thing was I have no problem wearing weaves but the first wig I felt so self-conscious that everyone knew I was wearing a wig. I prefer half wigs b/c my hairline is showing.

Some of the BSS lace fronts are decent too.

I don't remember my first experience, but I'm not self conscious at all.
I don't care if people can tell if it's fake or not, as long as I think it's cute. I'm more worried about the hair underneath.
