Finger Waves????

Can u do finger waves on natural hair? If so, how...

I'm interested in the answer to this also. When I was natural I got finger waves...looked like a bird's nest. I don't know if finger waves just don't work on natural hair or if it was they stylist.

I don't know really but speaking for myself I think mine would curl right back up as it started to dry. You might be able to hold some of it down with clips like if you were just doing the front part. You will probably need a strong gel too. I think this is something you might have to try out and see if it works because it's hard to say. I know I've been meaning to try them on myself for a long time but I didn't want to have to deal w/ a messed up head.

Uhhhhh.......is THIS what you all mean by fingerwaves?? Well nevermind i can't find a picture, but are yall talking about hte style that they wore back in the day(late 80's early 90's)
