I got so tired of asking around about "good" stylists. If they can do one thing, they can't do another.
I read all thru the self-relax stickie and decided to do it myself. DH said he was willing to help. I "briefed him and coached him" thru it.
(He is such a good sport, because currently he's on crutches). He texlaxed the 2 back sections while I did the 2 in front. It was a total of 18 min from first application to smoothing. My hair still has wave, which I love.
I rollerset and flat-ironed my roots (only for trimming purposes). Meanwhile he ran to walgreens to buy shears.
I am so trim-aphobic! But I needed it! Next time we texlax, he will trim more
When we were all done, I said to DH "You know what, I am stylist free". He said " Yeah, I guess you are"
ETA: All pics were taken last night. Gradually getting rid of those bone-straight ends. I began my journey @ touching shoulder length.
