Could you be a little more adorable Very nice. What type of yarn do you use? I was thinking of doing some myself but wasn't sure about how they are when wet etc.
they hold up just perfectly when wet or washing. that's one of yarns better properties vs. synthetic hair -- moisture retention. i find that is as long as you're moisturising your hair on a consistent basis, the yarn will help to hold it in.
I forgot to ask, when you wash them are they heavy or take long to dry like synthetic? I'm really sold on this idea and want to try them for my next install.
if you've had wet synthetic braids before, and can deal with that, you'll have no problem with yarn. when wet there is more "weight" to them because of absorption, but not heavy by any means. they usually takes a couple of hours to dry fully -- and when dry, yarn braids feel lighter than synthetic.
I've never heard of yarn braids, if anyone dyes yarn to match a honey blonde or browny colour can you let me know? I would love to try this it looks great!
