Finally found my Silicone Mix, how to use???

Hello peoples, I finally found my mega sized tub of Silicone Mix and was wondering how you guys used it? I remember vaguely using it as a deep conditioner and while it gave great slip I think the strong perfume in it left more moisture to be desired. So does anyone use this as a pre-treatment and how? Whats the most effective way to use this?
