Your curls are to die for. I am relaxed and thinking about transitioning to a texturizer or getting a wash and wear relaxer (Jazma). I hope my curls look as good as yours if I do make that decision. I am also 4a/4b (mostly 4a) with really thick hair.

Thanks everyone!

LiqueXX, getting a texturizer was the best thing that I've ever done for my hair. My hair is very thick too and I love being able to wash n' go without having major shrinkage.

I was just showing my husband the difference between my new growth (2 inches) and my relaxed hair and told him that's why some people go natural. It's thicker and much healthier. Your hair looks great. I may think about a texturizer myself! Very inspiring and your thickness is just wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I'm glad that I've inspired others.

Since I was about 5 (when my mother started pressing my hair), my hair has been thick. It was thick when it was natural, relaxed straighter, and still is. Sometimes I wish that it wasn't.

I just gave myself a retouch and pulled the relaxer all the way through to reduce more of the bulk to speed the air drying process.

Very pretty curls indeed, and your hair looks so moisturized and healthy! Great job, CurlyCrly!
