Thanks !!! :) I am a recovering heat 'aholic'. :look: I used to (still do) love to play in my hair and try so many different styles, I was known for trying a new style quite regularly. I cut back to once every 7-14 days, but actually in the past 3 months I have not used heat at all. I am going through heat withdrawal, but I put myself on a 6 month challenge and I am sticking to it, my hair needs a break.

Beautiful hair! Thanks for sharing. Oh yeah, the "back & sides pin up" style is gorgeous!!!

Thanks, one day I started to spiral set my hair, and I did not feel like rolling it all, so I pinned up most of it and threw some rollers in to jazz up the boring bun, been wearing it that way ever since.

Beautiful!! What is your regimen?

Thanks !

For the past 3 months I have been washing & deep conditioning weekly, conditioner washing almost every day. I use Pantene R&N or NTM, for deep conditioning I use either hair mayonnaise or cholesterol, when I roller set my hair I use Black N Sassy heat sheen and curl wax. When I flat iron or press, I use Black n Sassy heat sheen and perm repair, my hair is natural, but I like the moisture in perm repair and it helps to loosen my curl.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I have been on a roller coaster ride with my hair, some days I love it some days I hate it. It has been hard for me to find a stylist, so many of them want to convince me to get a mild perm (ha like there really is such a thing, anything that changes the texture of my hair is not mild) About 10 years ago I decided I wanted a perm because I could not get the lovely wraps everyone was wearing and I wanted to get a short hair cut, well after that I transitioned back to natural. Its funny how you always want what you do not have, I had bra strap length natural hair, and I wanted short permed hair. I had been keeping my hair shoulder length, but 3 months ago I decided to let it grow back out. Bra stap here I come.

Lovely pics!!
Your hair looks great also, I feel your pain about hair in the back not being as long as the front, I am sure we will work that out.

Beautiful hair. I wish I was natural! I love the curls.

Thanks !!! Your hair is gorgeous. Natural hair has its ups and downs, I am happy with it, today anyway. Looks like we are both about 4 in. from bra strap, see you at the finish line.
