Okay, so Divas, I cut my MBL to about 6" above WL hair:wallbash: last Spring for several reasons; the foremost being I was going to start dreads. Yeah, right, anywho . . . now I'm fiending for my hair back (:lachen:). So, today, I'm on here begging for somebody to tell me they see SOME progress . . .

I went back in to make the pics much smaller, they downsided while editing, but after hitting post they are big again :( ???

YES I def see progress!! In the first pic, I can see your scalp and in the second and third pic, I hardly see it because your hair is thickening up and/or growing so that the curls are now hiding your scalp. Beautiful hair!

Checking growth is one reason I don't mind dying my hair. Because when all is said and done when I see those silver roots I know EXACTLY how much new growth there is. :dork:

Oh, I like this bigmommah, "***Closer to a cougar than a kitten, purring with satisfaction****"

To make this really, fun, I'm going to post where I was at the start . . . i'll put it up on the first post.

Its definitely growing!! Keep it up don't get discouraged. I have to do length checks via photo periodically because I don't notice.

Perhaps this Florida sun helps, LOL. I have always equated sun/light and life with encouraging growth.
I'm a native Floridian and I don't believe that holds true but oh how I wish it did. We have high humidity as well. Protective styling is awesome for our climate. I can remember the days of getting a pretty hairstyle and it just fall/flop as soon as I walk outside, so frustrating. I live in Northwest Florida, it actually gets a bit chilly here (for Florida). Are you in Florida as well?
