I visited a new salon the other day and they used the FHI iron.... Anyone here have one? Also- do I have to order these online (or any of the higher priced irons) or can they be purchased from a local supplier? I live in Atlanta...

I have one. Ordered it from Ebay. Haven't run into any stores that sell it though.

I have the 207rvi and love it. I bought my first one online at some site (can't remember, but I overpaid!). I got a backup 207rvi from ebay for about $70.

I have the same iron and I got it at a beauty supply store in NYC. I'm sure if you hunt around you'll be able to find a store that sells it, but I will admit, it did take a bit of searching on my part.

I found one at Ulta yesterday - but it was like $149.95.... I will just order one from folica instead...

I have a FHI Tourmaline that was $90 at Ulta. It's pink too! But, it doesn't have an adjustable temp. control and it gets HOT, so hot that I am too afraid to use it on all of my hair. I've only used it to straighten new growth from time to time.
