Sorry for the big pics  . This flatiron is like BKT without the chemicals  . I attempted to rollerset last night ( I used lacio lacio & chi silk infusion), but it hadn't dried when I took the rollers out :ohwell:. So I pretty much flat ironed from its complete natural state. I also applied Chi Iron guard

omgoodness!! your hair is NOICE!!!!

how much did that flatiron cost?

how often do you straighten?

did you use any products other than chi?

eta: did you cut your ends after your flat ironed? its so blunt

When I got it on sale at amazon, it was $97.38! The PJ in me couldn't let me pass this up. I got the 1 3/4". It's the largest size platform they make

Whenever the mood strikes, but on average about 5x a year, some years less or more. I normally rollerset and silk wrap for sleeker hair. But I may start straightening more frequently (like 1x a month or every 2 weeks). We'll see...:)

I used Lacio Lacio & a little GVP detangler when I was rollersetting because I didn't have any Cantu left.

No, I actually flatironed so that I could check my end to see if they needed trimming or dusting, but so far they look pretty good. I think I'll just do a search and destroy and be done. I really want BSL by the end of December :lick:

Your hair looks GREAT! I am loving your ends. I want to get a FHI so bad, but I will have to wait.

Stay on the look out at Amazon.com. I've seen the 1" FHI Platform on sale for less than this (around $90.00 even). I was so happy when I caught this deal . Even though it nearly broke the bank :look:

I went on Amazon.com and saw the runway model. I think I want that one. Anyone know the difference?

The runway model has 6 baked ceramic plates stacked on top of each other whereas the platform only has 3; the runway is completely ceramic, but so is the Hana Elite for a more reasonable price. I believe the FHI technique is ceramic plated

I am LOVING your flat iron results. I don't want to take anything from that... but that roller set in your siggy is the bizness!!! Heck, your hair is just plain fabulous, overall. :yep: Thanks for sharing!

I love my FHI Platform. Excellent iron...But I WILL be purchasing a Runway by February "10! FHI flat-irons are definitely top of the line. ETA: My avatar is the result of my Platform iron. Your hair looks fab!

Your hair is so sleek and shiney. What temp did you have it on and how many passes did you do on each section?

Thanks guys. Couldn't have done it without LHCF :drunk:!

To answer the bolded
I set the iron around 350-365 and did 2-3 passes per section. But I did my section very very thin (around a 1/4" thick or less)
