I notice a lot of ladies say the either have the 1900 or are going to get it.

Question how well does the 1800 straighten? Is it really that much of differenence?:perplexed

Thanks

I honestly dont know...I'm one of the people who posted that I planned on getting the 1900 or 2000 only because I've seen rec's in magazine's singing the praises of the 1900 and 2000, and those are the two I've seen in salon's as well...Also the 1800 is how many watts it has; the other dryers have higher power. So I don't know how well it works because I've never tried any FHI dryers, but if you have an 1875 watt dryer or more, why get an 1800 one?

I'm thinking it may not matter. There are positive reviews for the 1800, 1900 and 2000. From what I've read, I guess the differences are that the 1800 is 1800 watts, kinda heavy (I think?) less hours of use out of the motor; the 1900 is 1900 watts, lightweight, powerful, good for home use etc; the 2000 is 2000 watts (i think; couldn't find a clear answer), has a longer & smoother motor (this is beneficial to stylists who will be using the blow dryer several times a day)

In general, I hear they are all great though. I will have a review on one of them (the 2000) by next week, hopefully.

I have the 1900 and it is quiet and effective. I didn't make a decision to choose it over the 2000 but I impulsively grabbed an ebay deal. I am completely content with the 1900; when I compared it to the 2000 on the FHI site the biggest difference I noticed was the number of "service hours" for the motor. Since I'm not a stylist, nor a frequent heat user, the 1900 works perfectly for me. BTW, when I've used it with Sabino, I didn't even need to flatiron afterwards - unless I wanted to wear my hair down and "salon-smooth".

I have the 2000 and it is quiet, fast drying, and very effective. I am 3B/3c and I got my hair straight on medium speed, low heat in a very short time. It is also very light and easy to handle.

Just tried my the 2000 tonight...Wow. Fast drying, super effective, and got my hair straight, which my past hair dryers usually never did!! On top of that, my hair felt moisturized afterwards; usually my hair feels kinda dry or straw like, but I could feel the moisture and softness in my hair and it made for even better results after I flat ironed my hair. Soooooo happy with this new addition to my appliance family!
