Feather wrap?

Its kinda hard to explain. They've been popular in baltimore the past year or so. It's like a layered wrap but the ends of the layers are kind of feathered or flipped going back. HTH...
 
It is done with a rollerset, and blown out much like a doobie but most of the curl is retained and flipped out kind of liek feathered.

SassyHair, you get yours blown out? My hairdresser just wraps my hair and curls it like that with the Marcel Iron. I would just pin curl it when I went to sleep. I haven't gotten one in a while though bc It's hard to keep IMO. Especially once your hair gets longer. That and I'm lazy and hate having to tie my hair up at night. :lol: I have yet to meet a Black hairdresser who can do a Dominican blow out in town. I've seen the Dom ladies do a similar looking style in the Dom salon though, but the feathers didn't look as pressed out as mines did with the iron. It just looked like the ends were flipped not each layer.
