Favorite/Best BLOW-DRYER.....

Now that I have a really good flat iron (FHI 207RVI :grin:) I'm looking for a really good blow-dryer, preferably one with the teeth/comb attached (I know, I know) b/c I can't get my roots straight for nothin'. :nono:

I have had my hairdryer for years. It is a Vidal Sasson 1250. I'm sure the newer version is this Vidal Sasson 1875. Go on amazon and type in Vidal Sasson hairdryer and it will be the first to come up. My hairdryer also came with the three attachments: wide tooth comb, fine tooth comb, and brush. You can also order replacement attachments if needed. I love it. It always gets my hair straight.

I use a Select Pro Gold dryer that I bought from Walmart and it has a comb attachment. However, I've used different dryers and the comb attachments have never worked as well as using a Denman for me....I use the technique like the one in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMuRR0fktrs (the woman has natural hair but it's the same concept) Try using a Denman in conjunction w/ your blowdryer :)

Have you tried doing a search? It doesn't seem like your getting much help here. I have an Andis. It was raved on a lot here. Whatever blowdryer you get make sure it's ionic-it's suppose to be better for your hair:)

I have the Yellowbird.....haven't used it yet but I thought that some LHCF sistas were raving about it, plus it was a good price, since I really don't blowdry that often:ohwell:

I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for so this thread seems appropriate. I am looking into getting the Chi Rocket or Sedu. I'm noticing that prices are escalating so between that and traffic I can just do my own hair at home. I will always get my weave done by someone though.

I've heard rave reviews on the Sedu which they say gives your hair way more volume than the CHI. Now the CHI is suppose to be way hotter. I'm going with Sedu.

I've had my eye on that one for a while now because it has the comb attachment..the high heat without multiple settings is my only concern
I have the Babyliss blowdryer and I love the dryer but I had to buy comb attachments and they keep flying off and knocking me in the head which is a pain :wallbash:

Which Sedu Blow dryer are you referring to? I've seen so many I don't know which is better.

these were the two I was debating on but since they're out of my budget now, I'm trying to go with something a lot cheaper.

this Sedu was rated the best on folica.com

You're Welcome:grin: Have you decided which one to get?

Yep. I just went to Target, Walmart, and Sally's to see if I seen any one of the blow dryers mentioned here and purchase it. I didn't find a lot of them that were mentioned (hair appliance supply sucks over here), but I did end up finding the Conair Shine with the comb attached.

Thanks! ;)

I have a BaByliss Pro Ceramix Xtreme in purple that I forgot to bring with me. I only really used it with the diffuser, but it got super hot.

I figured it was time to upgrade and I am waiting on the FHI Nano 1900 or some assorted nonsense. We'll see if the difference in wattage makes any difference. I would have preferred something more powerful but I was sold on having a pink dryer. :look:
