I tried this gel a couple of times. I got the same results as you did, it left my hair feeling hard. The only gel that doesn't make my hair really hard is the Infusium Styling gel.
I used Fantasia Frizz Buster Straightening gel and it doesn't make my hair hard at all. I usually use it for 3 days straight too. I also mix a little pomade into it before applying or after I apply it, I rub on a little pomade.
Babyblue, I've found it to be pretty soft, too. I've compared it to proclaim curl activating gel and that kind gets a little crispy and flakes. The fantasia has never flaked or gotten hard. I'm always amazed how it's soft with hold.
i use the Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Styling Gel. i mix it with the curl activator to put my hair up in the bun. i love it. i'm not sure if it would make my hair hard used by itself, but i definitely don't have that problem mixed with the curl activator.
I also use the Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Styling Gel to pull my hair back at love it! I use it along with my Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter. It doesn't make my hair hard either, maybe that's because of the butter? I heard the pink one (extra hold) gets pretty hard, but no problem with the one I have, it's a keeper!
Hairlove, do you know the difference between the Fantasia Frizzbuster and the Hair Polisher Styling gel? Does one act as more of a straightener? I saw them both in the store today, but walked out with the Hair Polisher. I'm gonna need something to help me tame these wild roots of mine as I transition.
I don't know the difference. When I bought the straightening gel it was b/c I couldn't find the hair polisher gel. It's never at the sally's where I live. It's 4.99 and I've found it to be worth it. Not sure how much the other kind is. But my guess is that the straightening gel wasn't meant for how I'm using it - which is to tame edges - but it works for me. Once I'm done with it, I want to try the polisher gel with sparklites!
I'd like to know where you all purchase the Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Gel with Sparkle Lites. I have never seen it in any store where I live including Sally's. I'd love to try it but I'd rather not buy it online. Any ideas?
I used this over the weekend and it worked pretty well. I used it on my damp hair and scrunched. But, I used a bunch of other products as well. But as for now, it is a keeper. I also like the pomade, although I won't try to use this very often, since it's hard to find.
I have this in my beauty closet..LOL...I haven't used it in awhile, though. The one thing I liked about it is that it didn't make my hair hard and is alcohol free.
