Hi ladies and thanks for peaking in. I'm trying to get my steam regimen down and was wondering what type of conditioners you use to DC with under the steamer. TIA

The first time that i steamed i used Dr. Joyce Williams conditioner. I think i did it one time with Dr. Miracles conditioner. I'm not sure what kind they use at the salon where I go to. I just wanted to also feel the tingle while i was getting my steam treatment done.

I Use Anything "Thick" and Those that Specifically says: Deep Conditioner/Deep Conditioning Treatment, Hair Mask/Masque, Hair Paste, Intense Hair Treatment/Penetrating Hair Conditioner, even Aubrey Organics (because of the consistency) etc.....:lick:

Anything that says it can be left on for 10, 15, 20, 30 minutes to an hour.:look:

But It is always something Super Thick and always a Deep Conditioner.

Chances are I wouldn't use anything 'runny' like V05 Moisture Milks or any other instant conditioners

I use silicon mix, ors replenishing conditioner, or joico intense moisturizing conditioner (blue bottle). I sit under the steamer for no more than 20 minutes.

I use any true deep conditioner. Right now, I'm rotating between Pantene Relaxed & Natural Mask and Silk Elements Olive Moisturizing Treatment.

I agree with IDareTsHair, I wouldn't use any runny conditioner or any instant conditioners. I dont' think they will do the job.

Too funny--I am sitting under the steamer right now. Normally, I use AO Honeysuckle Rose, which makes my hair feel amazing after a good steam.

Tonight, I'm trying something new: I am steaming with Matrix Biolage Cera-Repair. I've used this without steam, and it's :lick: My hair loves the ceramides in this stuff.
