Fake MTG VS real?

With all of the recently talk about MTG I am curious if using a "replica" is as good as the real thing. I have the real thing, used it for less than a week but could not take the funk AT ALL. I work in a small cubicle environment and it took 3 days for the smell to go away. People even looked at me funny and asked what that smell was.. (not cute). I thought about using it on the weekend, but didn't want to traumatize my husband either. I've been using a blend of sulfur and keymi oil with no smell, but wondering if I should try to deal with the "funk"

bumping for more responses... I would like to know also.. I only recently started using homemade MTG, so I can not give an answer at this point.

When I used MTG I added pepermint oil to it. I would suggest trying a smaller ratio of MTG to some other sweet smelling oil. Mix several small batches and see which one has the better smell.
