Hey Supergirl. Thanks 
I had braided my own hair up and wanted to do something with it since it was just braids hanging there. So I took about 6-8 sections twisted them up as if I was going to do a french twist then I secured them with a little clip/clamp. Not sure what they are called. Little claws...lol.
Oh and before that to get the slight curls I would bantu them over night and in the morning I had curls. It doesn't take much for my hair to curl up...it loves it...lol.
