My hair seems to soak up everything I put in it. just started cowashing and I use hair lotion (Mizani Intense night time treatment and Motions CPR lotion) and oils. My hair is still very rough and dry. Can you recommend a nice and juicy product? I have been bunning and my edges are not flattering. :nono: My last relaxer was 7 weeks ago and I dont want the world to see the proof. I want that silky smooth look. Any suggestions?

Have you tried Porosity Control - it works wonders. It's not a moisture conditioner, but it manages the porosity of your hair making moisturizing conditioners (and all other ones) work significantly better.

Silicon Mix!! Don't sleep on the price...Its only $5 for the 8 oz but it is a great product that does wonders for softening new growth. And also, when my edges are a little rough, I do the saran wrap method but instead of wrapping my hair because I don't, I just brush my edges back and wrap the saran wrap around my edges real tight and sit under the dryer to about 15 minutes and it looks like I had a relaxer

The only thing I can suggest for extreme moisture is Hawaiian Silky Miracle Worker 14 in 1. Thanks to Tiffers, this product works!!! My hair use to be dry also, but since I started using this product in the morning and at night on my cornrows, it works wonders.....I love her for recommending this product! THANKS TIFFERSSSSSSS!!

I think you need to put that Motions CPR lotion down. My sister has this and I've used it on my dry tresses before- it didn't seem to be doing anything but coating my hair. Pay attention to what your products are doing to your hair.

Also, I would recommend Porosity control. This stuff doesn't work over night but you should feel a difference in your "smoothness" after a couple of washes. Don't use it the way the bottle says because if you're a few months post and use it after your DC, it will tangle your hair. Mix it with your DC and leave that in for like a hour.
