Extension plus silk scarf? is it necessary?

Hello ladies, so after much pondering, I decided I work hard, and I deserve this great weave! However you all know that this EP hair costs an arm and a leg... and the saleswoman keeps claiming that I NEED the silk scarf that comes thats an additional 20 dollars, that this scarf is made of tree bark or something and supposedly helps you maintain the hair. Now I need to know if she is just tryna get some more money out of me? Or do I really need this scarf. My mom always said that you cant be cheap about your hair and your face, so I dont mind spendin the money if necessary, but if my good ole BSS satin scarf will do that would make me

If you have a scarf that should be fine. I think at their prices they should throw the scarf in for free. Hope you post pics after you get the weave.

I've used the EP hair before and didn't even wear a scarf sometimes. (Yeah, I know...that's bad), but my point is that I never had a problem with it. The hair is just that good. I would use what you already have at the house.

Don't buy it! That's some good hair and I used a scarf from wal-mart to tie my hair up. I agree with an earlier poster...with all the money you spend on the hair the scarf should be free.

yes ive used EP before and you dont need that scarf

and you'll be very upset for paying $20 for a scarf that isnt even worth it...

I don't think $20 is bad for a silk scarf and if it's good like that for the weave it must be great for your own hair.

I agree; the scarf isn't that much especially if you're buying EP hair (BALLER) I wanna see what that scarf looks like. Also, how is it a silk scarf with tree bark? I gotta look into that.

I've had my EP for over a year and it is still in excellent condition. I've never used their scarf. So no, you don't need it.

I've used EP hair for my weaves and I did not buy the scarf. I don't think you need it however, what's an extra $20 when you are already spending a grip on the hair. LOL

I've used and reused EP hair and didn't even KNOW they had a special scarf -- and my hair was perfectly fine without it!
