Expiration Date of Cassia & Amla Powder?

I bought some Cassia Powder & Amla Powder about 5 years ago. They were never opened and I just found them in a box of hair stuff in the back of my closet. Are these two powders still usable? Should I throw them away?

I would throw them out. I tried to use some stockpiled henna that I had for just over 2 years but when I mixed it I could tell that it wasn't quite right and I didn't want to risk ruining my hair.
