Hi ladies! i finally bought some EVOO today at TJMaxx. It was mixed with rosemary leaves. I'm so glad i found it! 8.5 oz for $4.99! That's a good price, right?

Ok, so now i'm a little puzzled. I'm not completely sure how to use it. I know I want to use it on my scalp to stop my shedding, but how much should I use? I was thinking of using it about twice a week after my washes, because my scalp is REALLY drying out and causing lots of shedding and it needs to stop.

I hear it moisturizes new growth too, am I right? my scalp gets so dry from sweating that my new growth not only looks coarser but STRAIGHTER too... and it's not really a good thing, nope nope

Can I mix it with my conditioner? some ladies did that, and they loved it, so i'm excited to try it.

Any other ways to use it?

Ooh and I FINALLY found the EQP mango butter :yay: so i'm going to use that on my ends. they're drying out

Hey girl...How the heck are ya??
I don't use EVOO on my scalp, but I would imagine you could put in a bottle with a pointed cap for scalp distribution. Or, you could just put a quarter size amount in the palm of your hand and massage it in with your fingertips. I'll warn you that EVOO is kinda thick...that's why I don't use it on my scalp. It gets a little gooey for me. I've used it to seal my ends , but I prefer to mix it my conditioners.
Girl, putting EVOO in conditioners will totally change the way you look at conditioners. When I started adding EVOOs and EOs to cons, my hair began to THRIVE!!!
Other uses, some ladies use it as a rinse after the poo & con (see LilChocolateMa for details).
Also, it's really good for the skin. Some ladies use it as a skin toner/rinse etc etc.
Good luck with the EQP Mango Butter...some ladies say it dries their hair out/makes it break, but I've had good experiences with it.

Thanx DivineI! I knew you wouldn't let me down

i might have experiment with the EVOO on scalp thing and see how it works. If it doesn't, i'll just use more of my lighter oils (almond and rosemary and quinine) for my scalp oiling thingie.
i'm so excited about putting it in the conditioner! can't wait to see how that turns out. I have modified my regimen :look: AGAIN... jeez why am i not satisfied
I hope things go well with the mango butter. I just did a search and I read that it softens new growth really well, and basically all my hair inspirations use and like it, so I hope it works for me too :)
