Since joining LHCF i have been experimenting with products and regimen to see what works for my hair since my BC. I had a bald spotm on the left of my head but it filled in but now I have a baldspot on the right side and I don't understand what's going on??

So far I've been spraying aloe vera juice undiluted to my scalp and sealing with shea butter (mixed in with wonder 8 oil). I recently decided to deep condition and poo wash once a week because I've been cowashing and its made my hair coarse over time. For shampooing I've been bulk barn soapworks bar soaps (coal/tar), I don't know if anyone's tried it but its kepst my hair moisturized.
What am I doing wrong??

I'm sorry this is happening to you! :bighug:

You have no idea at all of what can be causing it?

Do you clip your hair up there or wear anything tight in the area? Is the skin at the spot irritated at all?

Are you taking any meds? Try using aloe vera on all of your scalp just for good measure, that's what I do. Don't wait for a problem to rear it's ugly head. The tar soap, is it in a bar? I know you said your hair feels coarser. I think it's the soap. Try rubbing the soap in your hands then apply to the hair. It's been my experience that soaps need to be very diluted before washing the hair. Undiluted it makes the hair coarse. I use liquid castile so it's easy to dilute. This is just a suggestion. Hope something works for you!

I had a bald spot come up in the top of my head ad I went to the doctor and it was ringworm. Dont hesitate, go to the doctor.
