Is it just me or are they supposed to smell like... well, nothing. I ordered from cedarvale and the lavendar smelled so strong that I almost passed out.

The coconut (92 degrees) had no smell whatsoever.

I like Cedarvale's essentials tremendously. You are getting some of the very best around. Yes, that lavender is supposed to smell like that. I can't use a lot of it because it makes me kinda dizzy..too overpowering for me.

With Cedarvale's carrier oils, some are better than others. Be sure to look at the total description of the oil. Even some of their minimally processed oils, I do not find to my liking. I did not like their macadamia nut oil compared to Mountain Rose Herbs. Macadamia has a wonderful smell. Even MRH's "regular" (not organic) had a great aroma compared to Cedarvale's which smelled like nothing.

I am not an expert with coconut oil. I've only used the virgin coconut oil from Nature's Wild Child which is utterly delicious in terms of aroma and top rate both as to quality and price.

I don't think REAL coconut stuff has the smell you expect. I know when I bought some before, it didn't.
