I have it & read it. The article has examples of transitioning techniques - using braids, roller/strawsets, or extensions. It also suggests some products that you can use, and has a personal story from Lisa Gay Hamilton (The Practice). The best part of the article was the "What to Expect" timeline, which deals with what you'll come across as you transition.
Some info was decent (what to expect & some of the hair care tips) some info left some things to be desired (suggesting you transition with loc-extensions IMHO doesn't allow you to really 'enjoy' your transition or learn about your natural hair), but overall it was a decent article. For what it's worth, you'll find much more useful information (a plethora of info on transitioning) here: Nappturality
Thanks, I have to pick up the magazine over the weekend. I am seriuosly thinking about giving up relaxers all together and looking for some good advice on the best way to transition.
