Has anyone heard of a relaxer called Epitome? It has shea butter in it. Is there a website with more info on it? I recently swithced over to it and would like to know if others have had good or bad experiences with it. Thanks.

Hello A Chirstian,
I have never heard of this relaxer. How do you like it? Is lye? Where did you find it?

Epitomi sensative scalp works wonders for my thin hair! i never get burned like usual with all the other relaxers. the one my hairdresser uses is no-lye.

Thank you all so much! I truly appreciate the responses! I am going back and forth on wheter to keep my mild relaxer or transistion, but as long as this one works well, I might just keep stretching my re-touches for a while. Thanks again!

Hi

My stylist suggested it. On my last re-touch I got the mild, no-lye formula. The shea butter is suppossed to help with moisture retention. It didn't burn as badly as affirm, but it still burned. I have a really sensitive scalp so we use the no-lye formula, even though lye is suppossed to be better for your hair.
