Fantastic message. More people should hear it. Such an awesome epiphany.
This was a great message and even though I do envy a lot of different heads I still am grateful for what's I do have. Thanks for sharing![]()
Thank you for this, a reminder to appreciate what God has given me and not be checking for what everyone else is doing with what they have.
Although I did not agree with her definitions I thought her bottom line was excellent. First love what you have no need to waste more time focusing on what others have, over what you can achieve yourself.
However, in my opinion envy is more malicious and resentful than it is the dissatisfaction or state of not being content. If I am dissatisfied with something I can put my focus on something I would be satisfied with as a positive without downing myself and the stuff I really love I'm not eager to jump up and willfully change.
Me saying wow such and such's hair is beautiful, better than mine and I want what she has, is different than the lady who said to me "I want cut your ponytail off and wear it"(someone who would take what I have from me, instead of achieving what I have for herself). Still a good message but I think she described coveting, desiring, and even low self esteem more than actual envy.
One of my youtube idols!
Great message and I love how her baby kept tugging on momma's hair!

I really needed to watch this. I generally don't envy other women with long hair, but I do tend to envy women who has fast growing hair. You know, someone who can go from 1" to BSL in less than two years while my hair grows slower than average and a minor setback can mean 2+ years of growth.
I am thankful that I do have hair. That I have beautiful, thick hair and I need to remind myself of that.
LOL!!! I can totally relate! I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am, in fact, the S-L-O-W-E-S-T hair grower on this planet!!! No lie!!!![]()
