Okay ladies it is time for me to admit that I am a PJ. I have spent so much money this month alone it is ridiculous. I will be making my last couple of purchases for items that are on sale ie Miss Jessie's and a flat iron and that will be it until I get rid of what I have. So I especially will not be looking at any threads that have product names in the titles. Please pray for me

You know the 1st step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem. I am becoming a PJ myself. I'm not allowed to buy conditioner until I use at least half of what I have.

You know it's bad when you buy one of those rolling carts from Sally's to store all of your products at your house. But I dunno anyone who would do that! :wasntme:

Yeah, lately I have been out of control. I have spent waaay to much $$$ on hair products this month. Its starting to snowball. I can't stop. I found myself going to Sally's when I dropped my SO off @ work on Friday morning for no particular reason at all. It wasn't opening for another 45 minutes...so I waited...for 45 minutes. :ohwell:

second step is giving lilsparkle825 all your miss jessie's products and bottles of DC.

beyond that...join a no-buy challenge. worked so well for me that i joined one in october and didnt buy anything else for my hair till this past week.

I joined that no new product challenge from october to december, I purchased more things since then it's not even funny. In october you wouldn't have even known I was in a challenge. In november I only made 3 purchases (3 sets of shampoo and conditioner). A couple which I have returned. However while away for my anniversay I didn't bring anything to wash my hair and ended up having to buy some. At that time I discovered aveda dry therapy and damage therapy. Well lets just say I've earned a lot of aveda points since then. Not to discourage you, I'm just laughing at myself.

What I find myself doing though is when I buy something I'm not extremely pleased with I'll return it and get my money back. And as I find things that I do like I throw out or give away things that I haven't used in a long time. I want to simplify my routine to 1 set of shamp and cond. for moisture, 1 for strength, 1 leave in, a couple of oil to preshampoo, and a couple of styling products.

I am definitely with you on this one. This month I spent sooo much money on products. It seemed as if everyone was having a sale. I am addicted to conditioners. I have enough conditioner to last me a year.
