I disagree. In time as your hair grows longer the ends will become thin. They won't appear thin when the hair is curly or maybe even blown out but if you were to flat iron bone straight they will probably appear thinner, due to unevenness and natural breakage. Your hair doesn't seem fully straight in that pic. If I don't thoroughly flat iron my hair my ends will be thick but in a silky straight state they are much thinner.... I'm not denying that you have healthy, full ends but almost all hair when very long and straight will have thinner ends.
I think you're referring to aesthetic appearance. when i was relaxed not trimming was not an option. well, it was but my ends looked thin. if one wears their hair curly they can afford to only do minimal dusting/search and destroys b/c the unevenness isn't really apparent.
