End wraps

I really don't know what end wraps are used for. My sister brought about a thousand of them... Ladies, I need mucho info on end wraps. What are the how's and why's of end wraps.

Are you referring to the paper wraps that you use with rollers? I've always been taught to wrap them around sponge rollers to protect your hair because sponge rollers draw all of the moisture from your hair and can lead to splits. Hope this helps!

is it only for sponge rollers? I just brought some plastic ones today. does it help the hair dry quicker?
