**End Retention**

I've been using Pantene oil moisturizer for the past couple of months and my hair really likes it.

Just keeping them moist at all times with Profectiv Breakfree, UBH Moisturizer, Surge Oil, Hot Six Oil and whatever other leave-ins, etc. I have on hand! :)

I really think that the key is to keep them moisturized; it doesn't really matter much with what, IMO...

Currently, I'm wearing buns to protect my ends...I alternate by wearing twists to give my hair a rest from buns. So far I'm using Luster's S-Curl Moisturizer on my ends on bun days

I like ORS Olive Oil. Really good stuff. CD Hair Milk is also good.

I'm on the bun and baggie challenges so depending on my mood I have used:

- vaseline
- castor & olive oil mix
- Worlds of Curls activator with jojoba oil
- Protectiv Healthy Ends

All of these combined with being committed to the challenges have helped me retain my ends and length. This weeked I purchased Redken Clear Moisture's Moist Ends. I just tried it tonight. I like the way it feels going on. I will let you know if its worth the money after using it for a week.

I have been using Castor oil and shea butter...my hair has definately been taking a liking to pure castor oil...so I do the baggie method with that and some carrot oil

I mostly use Profectiv Healthy Ends & EVOO, but I also use Soft & Beautiful Carrot Oil Creme (still on the same bottle from 1 1/2 years ago). I have NEVER tried shea butter and I think it is time.

Nay, what is Pantene oil moisturizer similar too?

I touched up on the 1st and I managed to retain it all and I owe it to my baggie method. Usually I have lots of splits by now and thankfully I hardly have any. My only probably is uneven growth...lol. I apply some MNT conditioner and whatever oils I have near by. Right now it's a mix...with some EO and hot six ,etc.
