Mine is the color of nonfat milk, the consistency is hard for me to describe. At room temperature, it's still liquid but kinda thick (but not heavy when you use it). 
That's about as clear as mudd. 
In comparison to other products I've used, it's consistency is similar to: TIGI Ego Boost, Elucence Moisture Benefits Conditioner. It's not oily, or heavy but it's kinda thick...
