To wash after the Emergencee Treatment or not, that is the question. I know we've had several threads regarding this but what was the verdict???

I use Emergencee and it is best to wash before and after emergencee. If you arent using the Therapee make sure it is a very moisturizing poo like NTM.
I love it. It works wonders for my hair.

Definitely wash before application AND after rinsing out, then follow with moist. cond.

To make sure all the residue is out. Plus it can dry your hair out, if you dont add the moisture back in properly.

I don't wash after. Ever.

I don't think there's a verdict either. I think whether you do it or not depends on 1. how long you've used the product. The instructions re: washing AFTER, are new; and 2. how your hair responds when you do one or the other. Try doing it both ways and see what your hair prefers.

i agree with tracy. i did an emergencee treatment last night and did not do a post wash. that is how i do it everytime. try it and see what works for you.

Why do you wash afterwards?

My particular bottle instructed a washing afterwards, so I figured I'd rather play it safe.
