I have used this maybe 4 times since I brought it and it seems to tangle my hair like no other shampoo I have tried. I pre-poo w/each use with either a protein(Keraphix) or oil alone and no luck. While I do love the smell it has done nothing for my hair each time.

Sorry your hair doesn't agree with it. I love that shampoo. It smells so good and makes my hair feel really soft.

I don't particularly care for this poo. To me it's not really moisturizing at all. It has a tendency to leave my hair feeling kinda stripped. When I do use it, it's def. something I'd later with no more than 2x. I would not repurchase, I will stick to my trustly Design Essentials moisturizing poo  .

The Elucence shampoo was only okay for me also. I love the conditioner though. The Design Essentials is a much better shampoo for me also.

It started out working for me but then it stopped.

Yeah, what she said. I love the design essentials

This used to work for me but now it leaves my hair a tangled *** mess. It was hard for me to let it go because it smells heavenly. Now I use it on my son's hair since he wants a mini fro. It makes his hair really soft. But from what I can tell from curlmart, those with type 3 hair love it. Oh, well:ohwell:

I agree with nikki. I love the Design Essential Poo so much better. I gave the Elucence to my cousin. It didnt do anything for my hair. The smell was a lil overwhelming to me but it did smell good!

I agree with everyone. The Elucence started out as a great shampoo and then one day it stop working. The Design Essentials Moisture Retention Shampoo and Keracare Hydrating and Detangling shampoo has not failed me yet.

My son and husband use the Elucence since I had a liter size bottle.

I like the shampoo but it doesn't give me slip like Keracare's detangling shampoo. It just leaves it clean and feeling soft but with very little slip. I do keep this one in rotation though.

this shampoo works well on my hair but my scalp hates it

it caused excessive itching and massive shedding, the wad of hair i lost was slighty larger than a golf ball

i experienced the same reaction when i tried elasta's shampoo for relaxed hair and kenra moisturizing shampoo

i think my scalp doen't like sodium myreth sulfate

Exactly, and since they're all made by the same company, no wonder my hair hated every single one of those poos.

thanks ladies for all of your replies! last night I tried the poo again, this time I lather twice and still the same thing(tangles and the stripped feeling to my hair). LocksofLuV next time I use this, which will be my last time, I am going to comb through my hair first to remove all of the shedded/tangles and see if it works any better. Hopefully, it will b/c I really want to like this shampoo.

There's nothing special about this poo to me, meaning it's just ok....nothing to re-purchase or rave about. I don't really notice it being moisturizing either. I'm just trying to use mine up. Now the conditioner....that's a different story!:notworthy
