I was thinking these were out already...dang !! They don't exist yet? We need to get together and create one! We have until Christmas, that's when I can straighten my hairI have a Gold N Hot
It works very well on my coarse 4b hair (which is basically on my edges) but I refuse to use it on my fine and medium 4a hair. They are IMO just as good (and probably safer) as the non electric ones.
I would try using a flatiron before the hot comb because they are not ceramic (I believe they are all gold plated) and if they are too high they can do damage regardless of heat protectants. If someone invented a ceramic hot comb I think they would make millions![]()
I had an electic hot comb a few years ago. I didn't like it.
I have a ceramic/tourmaline electric hot comb that I got from Walmart http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5996464 for $19. I use it on my roots and edges when I'm more than 5 weeks post. I really like...just scared to use it more often than I currently do.
WHy did you have to post this!! I"m going to be all up in Walmart trying to buy one.
Maybe I didn't know how to use it properly....Even if I used the highest setting, I couldn't get my hair straight enough. It was always frizzy. Can you explain why ?
