I use it everyday with good results. After getting my dominican blowout, I was afraid to use it b/c of the water. BUT after applying it to my hair after wrapping, it looked great the next day. I also use breakfree b/c of some breakage I have but I prefer the mango butter. :)

Thanks ladies!
I think i may buy a jar tommorrow to apply to my new growth and edges. I don't think its a product I would use if I where to wear my hair down.

didn't like it-to heavy, made hair feel weighed down and sticky. Only thing I like is smell.

yeah definitiely use this for slicking and taming back edges. i use it for curl definition and moisturizing sometimes. i seems as if a lot more naturals like it than relaxed heads. its a staple in my regimen :)

I definately love the smell of it. I use it for moisture and curl defination on my ends. I am not quite satisfied with the moisturizing qualities. It does provide moisture but not for a long time. I wish it would make my hair more soft and shiny looking. :perplexed

no not anymore, i think it has something to do with the water content plus its pretty heavy for my hair, but i love clairol vitapointe

i still use it on my hair..and i LOVE the smell..it doesn't moisturize for very long so i seal in the moisture with Wild Growth Oil...on my edges though i use organic root stimulater fertilizing temple balm...it lays my edges down like a CHARM...and the best part..i don't even have a perm and you can't tell.

I looked at the beginning of the thread and was like...did summin happen that I didn't know about....like a rash of folks had stopped using it and I missed the newsflash....

lol. Still using...don't plan on stopping....I don't think the Mango Butter is an intense moisturizer....but it does provide moisture and smells wonderful...and it's not a product to be slathered on with a heavy hand...a lil will do the job just fine.

BUMPING

I love it on ends and edges. I throw on a few satin rolles on the ends, I put on my silk scarf and go to bed. When I remove it in the am, my hair lays downs just fine and the ends stay curled! I then comb it up in a ponytail.

I'm a natural and I like it OK. It doesn't moisturize THAT well for me and I feel that I have to use a bit too much of it. It's and OK product though.

I use the Mango Butter to seal my length and ends when I am wrapping up my hair before bed. First, however, I put a mixture of my leave in and some curl activator. The butter is so heavy that it sort of locks the other two in. By morning, its all soft and smooth.

I bought this product after hearing about reading about it on other forums. I love the smell but I didn't like how it made my hair feel. My hair began to feel very brittle although it gave a healthy looking appearance, it was like using a mineral oil it just sat on my hair!

I use this :). I'm natural and use it after no 'pooing my hair to seal in moisture. I like it, also a little goes a long way. -- jainygirl

Ahhh, damn I can't wait to go pick up a jar later on today. I plan on using it with S-Curl. Now that I cannot part with. Does the smell linger?

I used it in the past; I did not like it. It just 'sat' on my hair. The smell [as mentioned before] is the only good thing about it.

I like this stuff. I use it only at night before I wrap my hair. I'll spray my new growth and ends with a conditioning spray and put a little bit of Mango butter to seal in the moisture. When I wake up my hair is soft and shiny.

I used some today! I love this stuff, I love the smell. I'm 17 weeks post relaxer and it's really hold the edges down and my hair is soft.

This my favorite moisturizer. I mix it with aphogee essential fatty acids oil and I get tremendous results from my rollersets after I have washed & conditioned my hair. I find mixing it with the oil thins it out so it spreads better. I leaves my hair sealed, especially the ends. I usually don't have to add moisture again for 2 days. I really love it. It works excellent on my hair.

If I am wearing a ponytail, I used it on my edges and my ends. I love it.
