UUUGGGHHHHH I HATE THIS STUFF!!!!

I did the perfect DC, my hair was feeling so great afterwards, all ready for styling product... then bam...

MUSH CITY!!!!
then today its crackling dry!!! WTF

I can't believe I was so taken by it... It smelled so good :ohwell:
And someone on here questioned me when I said cetearyl alcohol doesn't agree with my hair... Guess what eqp butter has.... CETEARYL ALCOHOL!!!!

I knew I wasn't an idiot...

Anyways, what was your experience with this stuff? Sorry if I was so biased :lachen:

I didn't find it to be a "miracle moisturizer" or anything special on its own, but mixed with some whipped shea butter... Girl, it makes my hair feel like butter. I whip my own unrefined shea butter at home, so the last batch I made i mixed 2 parts shea butter with 1 part of the Mango butter. It makes a really velvety mixture. I just used it for the first time last night on the twistout in my avi. My hair is still soft and feels moisturized.

I keep giving this stuff chance after chance and it just doesnt want to act right. It does nothing for my hair either. Or my daughters. However I am trying to use it up to get it out of my stash because I refuse to toss it.

I hate it. I prefer just regular shea butter. That mango butter stuff just sits on top of my hair.

Didn't use the jar I bought cause it smelled rancid. I tried some of my aunts, and it sucked...literally sucked anything resembling moisture right out of the strands. Hated it!

It does nothing for my hair. My grandmother loves it though. I'll stick to Jane Carter's Nourish & Shine and my spray bottle with water, glycerine, and oil.

Thanks boo I'ma try that and see what happens... I can't just waste this jar :wallbash:

I agree 100%. That product did a big fat ZERO nothing for my hair. I was so excited based on the raves from a lot our members...but oh well, sometimes it's hit or miss with these prodcut raves. I hopped over to Qhemet and that was Aiiight, but then I hit the jackpot with Hairveda and I hope I don't have to look elsewhere ever again. :)

I don't like it either, it just sits on my hair. It smells good though.

I was desperate to use it up, so I just threw it on my edges.
