Has anybody used this? I have a bottle of it and I need to do something with my hair. I'm 9 weeks past touch-up and nothing is detangling like it should (even Humecto

). I'm pulling entirely too much hair out trying to detangle even after Creme of Nature. It lists Hydrolyzed Silk Protein as the third ingredient but claims to give maximum moisture. I'm pretty sure it's a protein condish but it claims differently. I don't have anything left in my arsenal so this is my last chance at a decent hairstyle until Saturday when I get my touch-up. So ladies (and gentlemen *

@ lucky and nikos*), any yeas or nays on this?

I haven't tried it, but I had the same problem the other day. I am 10 weeks past touch up. I did a condition wash with Pantene R & N, and my hair was a tangled mess. I lost alot of hair also, but the Creme of Nature fixed it. Sorry, I didn't help but I know what you are going through.

Damn I was gonna say if it's like that now then rather than 'tear your hair out' get a touch up asap, but you say you're getting one on saturday. Well you're a 4a/b and I am a very coarse 4b and I honestly don't think it's gonna work the wonder you want before saturday. You're probably better off using mayonnaise in your hair from the supermarket than the Intense IMHO

it's okay, but the Smooth & Sleek now works better for me at detangling than the Intense. so you might be a tad disappointed in that respect. it's a pretty good conditioner though.

I'm a super thick coarse 4b with one spot (the crown area) of a mixture of 4a and 4b. But it let me comb kinda easily while it was in. After washing it out, that was a different story. Maybe I have hard water along with the fact I need a touch-up. Good thing I lost my Metrocard and can't get to work because my hair is just a hot mess LOL

I have used and Intense, and it was a good conditioner imo. It does have detangling properties, but like Adrienne said, nothing close to Pantene.

about the silk proetin, I don't think its one of those heavy proetins because each time i used the inetnse my hair felt very soft afterwards. I used mine mixed with olive oil, and plain, both worked well. I had underprocessed hair around the time i was using it, but i remeber pushing it to the back once i was due for a touchup. I think if you try it now, you wont get desirable results. HTH

oh so you can wash your hair the same week you are getting a touchup? i was wondering because i washed yesterday and i am going to get a touchup either thursday or friday. i had to wash it so i wasnt sure. also i cant believe it but the last touchup i had was in december before christmas so i am like 20 weeks into this. my hair as expected isnt being nice to me but i will try anything to calm it. is world of curl good to use if you are going to get a touchup in a couple of days? sorry for asking my own questions but i am in a similar boat. God bless you all.
