... and Mango Butter -- any reviews??? My money is tight this week so I purchased these products.

I'm SO over overpriced products after reading about the outrageous prices at Curves. As long as they aren't loaded with petroleum or mineral oil I can deal.

I am a big fan of the Glaze: I've used it for about 4 years now, and I think it's great, especially the closer I get to touch-up time (keeps the new growth in CHECK!

I am not a big fan of the mango butter. I used it for about 4 months, and then, it just did nothing for me.

Hope this helps...

Yea I bought the elasta qp glaze..but i dont know what im going to do with it. I was thinking of doing like a spike type look...espcially since i don't like to use heat more than once a week and sometimes i don't even like doing it once a week.

so yea how do u guys use the glaze?

Do you apply it directly to your new growth like how one would grease the scalp?Do you apply it when your hair is wet or dry

IMO, it is the best hair gel out there. It is a bit heavy, but it definitely help the new growth to lay down straighter. I have used this product since 2000. And it is so cheap, you can always stock up. I am never without this stuff.

LOL! Exactly my thoughts!

Katie, The closer I get to touch-up time, I use it on my wet hair, but not like greasing your scalp. I just pay close attention to the perimeter of my head (to avoid the fuzzies) and occassionally, I may quarter my hair and put a little glaze on the roots of each of the four areas. But mainly when I'm using Glaze, it's how you'd use regular hair gel, just on the perimeter.

Hope that helps!

True indeed!

Are there any naturals who use this product? I guess my hair is 4A/4B (don't believe in that chart by the way). I have virgin hair with very tight curls.

I use glaze and I LOVE it. I will always restock this product. I also use the curl wax when slicking my hair back into a puff (which I very seldom wear) It is good for that.

I think the mango butter is just OK... IMHO I gave one jar away and after I use up the other jar I probably won't buy it again

Hey i guess i'm the odd ball here, the galze does not hold my natural 3c hair. The front of my hair is very dry so that may be it but its real shiny though. I bought it and i only use it to rub a little over my bun for some shine because it refuses to hold the front.

I happen to love the Elasta QP Mango Butter!! I don't use the Glaze much, it's way too stiff and heavy for me.
