anyone else use this ?

I LOVE it..its soooooo thick. IMO it is very similar to the dominican conditioner miss keys 10 in 1.
If anyone is looking for a very thick rich conditioner then you might want to try it. plus its only $5

Did nothing for my hair. I mixed it with honey and olive oil and got better results. Will not purchase when this is gone!

this is my deep conditioner of choice, i still have 3 jars on reserve. now, I use it without heat, i keep it in for 1 1/2 hour. Before I used to sit under the dryer for 20 min.

I love it. 4a fine textured relaxed.

That's how I use it too, but that's also how I use all of my conditioners.

Is this a protein type conditioner?

[/ QUOTE ]

no protein at all - DPR stands for deep penetrating remoisturiser so you could use it after a protein treatment /images/graemlins/smile.gif

There's not protein.

The ingredients are: Chamomille, Nettle, Balm Mint Leaf Oil, Coltsfoot Extract, Horse Chestnut Extract, Sage Leaf Extract, Rosemary Extract, Petroleum, Cetyel Alcohol, Cetromonium Chloride, Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Laurus Nobblis Oil, Orange Oil, Neroli Oil, Black Currant Seed Oil.

I want to try this, I have so many protein conditioners and a very few moisture only..... I've been searching through and it sounds like this is a great buy and a great product!

Thanks!
Janet

Yep I do the same thing. I love it. I think im gonna try some coconut oil with it too.

I tried this last night. It was soooo thick! It won't replace my Motions Moisture plus, but I liked it very much. I will try it with heat and it looks like this will be a part of the rotation!

I used it last night after i henna'd with some EVOO mixed in it. My hair loves this!! I think I will try honey too!

Oh boy, back to the BSS for me! LOLOL do they sell that at Walmat? They have been carring all kinds of things lately.

AtlantaJJ which Wal-Mart are you going to? The one in Lithonia used to carry EQP Mango butter and a few other things, but they just stopped carrying it. If you go to Gresham Road let me know what they have,

I like this too! It makes my hair nice and soft. I live in the NYC area and I haven't seen it yet on the shelves of any of the bss I freguent. ( And I frequent the big ones) I order them online or buy them in DC because I alway find them in the bss there.

I agree 100% with this statement! :)

I must have bought a bad batch then, because all this time I've been using this one jar, I thought it was a protein treatment because it made my hair hard. And the smell is off, kind of.

Maybe I'm putting toom uch in or not rinsing it out enough? I don't know, but that sucker makes my hair almost brittle when I use it...must be something I'm doing wrong, or it was a bad batch

OK, I've seen virtually every other Elasta QP product in either a retail, drugstore, or BSS, but not this one. I may have to just go ahead and order some online. Thanks!

I went to a BBS store today and it was hiding in a big round jar looking like relaxer!! I almost over looked it!! In fact they had it over by the relaxers!

I'm doing a henna tonight and I am following up with the DPR-11 with a bit of Almond oil mixed in with honey.... I get to choose what flavor oil I'll use, perhaps I'll change my mind and do Coconut...EVOO is so passe..hehehehe! LOLOLOL <I'm just happy to have hair on my head to work with! LOLOL> don't mind me...

I went to the BBS store instead, I go to the Super Wally World in Marietta. I am so glad I went to the BBS because I found SURGE!!

I've been wanting that but could not bring myself to order online, this store carries all of their products!

Woo Hoo :yay:

Girl, I was at a store near me the other day, and I swear I must've spent at least 20 minutes in the Elasta section. I saw the tubs of relaxer, but they didn't have the DPR-11. I was too through!

I have a habit of opening up hair products and smelling them when I'm in the store!! Smells matter to me, that's why I wouldn't touch MTG with a 10 foot pole!

Surge smells good though...hehee

sorry you got a bad batch :ohwell:
