I didn't much care for it, it left my hair feeling crispy when I used too much of it. When I used smaller amounts it just didn't seem to effect my hair either way. I prefer creamy leave-ins (a la NTM Silk Touch or PM's The Conditioner) as oppossed to watery ones because the creamy ones leave my hair feeling moisturized and soft. I actually have a bottle of H-Two just sitting around...chillin.
I didn't care for it myself either. It barely detangle unless I drenched my hair with it. It made my hair feel dry and crispy and sticky. I was so glad to throw it out. But there are some people who like it. I like creamy leave-ins myself.
I love it. I was originally using Kenra Daily Provision but got turned on to this because they have basically the same ingredients (except H-2 has like 4 more). It's great as a detangler and it smells good. My hair always comes out nice and soft with this.
I love this product too! I use it after washing, and it aids in detangling my hair and hold in moisture. I've been using it for about a yr, and no complaints.
It's odd that the reviews are so opposite. I like it because it makes my hair feel very soft and fluffy--sometimes too soft. I used it when in braids and I continue to use it out of habit. I haven't found any spray-on leave-in's that I would rave about.
I have this, and don't use it as a leave-in. If I need more moisture in the morning after my evening co-wash/airdry routine, I use it to ctually mist my hair lightly in the morning (instead of water), then apply a little oil or serum on top. Does fine for me.
I love this product, and use it daily. My tricks are not to use too much (has a tacky feel to it when just applied) and not to comb/manipulate my hair after using it. After pinning/bunning my hair with moisturized length and ends tucked under, I give my hair a good misting with this and my oil/conditioner concoction to "lock in" the moisture. This can also be done at night when wrapping. Once it dries my hair is soft and smooth, never sticky or greasy at all. It looks and feels conditioned all day. HTH.
