Edges straighter with rat tail comb than with brush!

Man, I am in absolute awe of how flat and straight my hair came out today. My brush has been doing my hair hair wrong lately, so today I decided to use only combs for smoothing my hair into a bun. I finished with the rat tail comb and Wow! It came out great. I will be doing this from now on.

A few years ago, I tried this method and my hair never got this flat. I guess it worked this time because I have Stiff Head and EQP glaze in my life.



FYI- I have over an inch of new growth in some places.

My last relaxer was July 31st and I am holding out until Thanksgiving. I did it on dry hair. I applied my Breakfree leave-in from root to end. Then I put on a thin layer of EQP glaze around my edges and a thin layer of the Stiffhead around my hair line. I used my hands to smooth in the product, and then I started using the combs. My hair looks great! It got wet in the rain and it is still smooth.

I do this also. I do it on my wet hair though. I spray on my leave in and then apply some Let's Gam gel, and slowly comb through and my hair lays down. I've been doing this since the summer.

Yeah I figured that out when I was wearing phony ponies while I was relaxed. My hairdresser always slicked it back with a rat tail. It gets your hair so flat! Say goodbye to the brush!
