I want to dye my hair auburn this summer, but I figured henna was a safer, more natural way to dye it. What are some good brands? I looked at Mehandi, are they good?

I think the result will depend on your original hair colour. I use the red raj from hennasooq and got this result:

^^ My hair is naturally a little darker than that

I've been using Moroccan henna from hennaking.com. I think it would be auburn on it's own. So far I like it but I mixed mine with indigo for a darker brown.

Which color? I kinda like the result from the "natural red".

The Moroccan henna from hennasooq gave me auburn hair but I applied indigo next to get jet black hair. I mixed the henna with lemon juice and let it sit for 12 hours before applying it. I left it on for 4 hours.

I got a boxed henna from Sprouts in the color auburn; The brand is Light Mountain Herbs and it's henna mixed with indigo to get auburn.
