what is the best way to retain moisture for natural hair? i co-wash and dc after every poo. tried baggying but left my hair feeling really oily not to mention the stain on my pillow case. help it really needed here. feels like my hair is getting drier by the day.

I think the moisture seal method is good. 6 weeks ago my hair was like straw and would snap in a second. Now my threads have stretch. I added a protein conditioner every three weeks but moisturize and seal with a combo of coconut/castor oil.

However, my biggest improvement came from changing from shampoos that had the lauryl sulfate stuff in it. It can be very stripping. By the way, I'm a natural that rollersets with heat twice a week!
