how long does it take for u to dry your hair? air dry? blow dry? hood dryer?
it takes me over 24 hrs to air dry in a ponytail. to air dry out it takes about 6 hrs (with no product). the blow dry it takes tooo long that i have never tried to do this myself. hooddryer-takes up to 3hrs.

really worried about this when i finish transitioning and i want to wearmy hair out.

it takes the whole day to air dry my hair. but i plan on getting a hooded dryer so i can start rollersetting. it should be a whole lot quicker.

My 4b head's a 24hr. air dry too! Even if I part it and put it into 4 braids (to make the process faster) it still does NO JUSTICE! I have a hooded dryer and that still takes about and hour & a half. I'm thinking of investing in an Ion dryer to hopefully make the process a lil faster!

Air dry? 4 hours
Blow dry? 20-25 minutes (after it's air dried for a while) I never do this soaking wet and I use a blow drying brush, not the comb attachment
Hood dryer? 2 hours for rollersets, depends on amount of rollers

air dry = about 3-4 hours
blow dry = 20 minutes tops
hood dryer = 2-2.5 hours with a roller set, 3 hours for a wrap.

air dry while leaving my hair out- about 4 hours
air dry while in a bun- I'm not sure, but more than 24 hours.
Air drying with rollers-12 hours
Under hooded dryer with rollers-about 2.5 hours
Blowdry without the intent of getting it straight-20 minutes
Blowdrying to straighten-like an hour and a half to 2 hours

Air dry- ~3 hours

I don't own any heat appliances to dry my hair now...

When I was relaxed:
Air dry - ~4 hours
Hood dryer/roller set- ~2.5 hours
Blow dry - ~45 minutes if soaking wet/ ~30 minutes if air dried some first

Airdrying(in a ponytail): 24 - 36 hours to dry completely
Hooded Dryer/rollerset: 1.5 - 2 hours
Blowdry: 30 - 45 min

If I am air drying it seems like forever but any where from 12 to 24 hours.

With a hooded dryer and a roller set about 2 hours but I am also looking into a hooded dryer to cut down on the time.

I haven't used a blow dryer since Dec 03 but when I used it once a week it took about 20 mins after I air dried for about an hour.

Re: drying hair- HELP

I think I've hit a brick wall

the only way for my hair to come out straight and no bumps/dents, is to rollerset my hair that is soaking wet. I'll usually spray the section with my leave-in cocktail. The problem is that my hair took about 4 hrs to dry under my hooded dryer last night!!!!! I don't know what I'm going to do for my next wash..I'm actually dreading that day now. I know that it is a good sign when your hair takes longer to dry -the hair strands are holding in the moisture. Any suggestions on what to do???

Re: drying hair- HELP
