Do you use a had dryer and paddle brush or a dryer with the comb attachment or a bonnet dryer or a hood dryer?

Air dry,Bonnet, or hood dryer. Hand dryers are direct heat and if you use it weekly it will break your hair.

I dry under the hooded druer until abput 80 percent dry and then blow dry with a comb attatchment.

I use a ceramic blowdryer with a comb attachment to dry my hair after washing it.

I always rollerset so I either:

Airdry the rollerset (just takes more time but it's healthier. hair smells so good when i do this)

or

Sit under the hooded dryer for an hour.

I wouldn't use a handheld dryer on a weekly basis, because of the direct heat.

thanks! i'm gearing up to get the equipment i think i need so all of our responses are helpful.

I use a hand dryer with comb attachment. I moisturize and use a heat protectant. It takes awhile because I am super gentle with my hair esp. the ends.

Weekly, I rollerset, bonnet-dry until about 80% dry, then airdry to finish.

I've got the rollerset down but man am I sick of all that work. Now I'm looking at drying in a ponytail roller set under my bonnet dryer and then flat ironing on medium heat setting with heat protectant.

I can't use a blow dryer unless I learn to do it safely. Bad experiences with that!:nono:
